The demon, known only as Jakerbok, is a major force of evil then and now, who taunts the reader to Burn this book! throughout this satanically autobiographical monologue, for he has embedded his very self inside each word on each page....as a long-dormant vehicle for the dark forces to finally conquer all things good and holy in this world. A one-man ( or, rather a one-demon) narrative, in which this medieval devil speaks directly to the reader at hand is sure to become an instant classic for all fans of major good vs. evil literary works. This is the first known time that the voice of a major demon has ever been realized in book form, where it speaks directly --as in a poker game--to the reader. Featuring shockingly crafted dialogue and details of the epic hell that the author can and promised to unleash if this manuscript is circulated, the storyline of this short work of master fiction has Jakerbok explaining his roots in this world to the reader --going back centuries to his childhood traumas at the hands of his own parents, who are themselves, super demons. The story then moves to tell the saga of how Jakerbok rose from being a minor demon to a major demon. It culminates with his insidious plot to invade the minds and hearts of all humankind everywhere through the newly invented vehicle of the printing press, via this very book, which has now surfaced with the debut publication of MISTER B. GONE, which contains the ancient demons acutal power deep within every word and every page via the ink and paper on which it is printed. Hence, Jakerboks taunt: For Gods sake......BURN THIS BOOK!

Audio Books - New Paranormal from Kelley Armstrong in the tradition of Twilight
My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again. All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost—and the ghost saw me. Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a ""special home"" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House . . . before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

I think it's a good bet that Kelly Armstrong understands the teen and young adult universe very well. The Summoning just took me right in. Read the eBook version under the covers - first nip of fall - with a backlight on my Blackberry. Atmosphere created by Kelley Armstrong was perfect for this. My daughter read it first on her Mogul phone. Thought it might just be for kids, but this worked well for me - maybe because there are teenage girls at home. I wanted more. I'll have to read Kelley's adult eBooks now, too.

Lead guitarist of the Dark Troubadors, Dayan was renowned for his mesmerizing performances. His melodies stilled crowds, beckoned, seduced, tempted. And always, he called to her. His lover. His lifemate. He called to her to complete him. To give him the emotions that had faded from his existence, leaving him an empty shell of growing darkness. Save me. Come to me.

Dayan is a member of the Dark Troubadors, who are Carpathians (like vampires). Corinne is a psychic, though her powers are very weak. She has an adopted sister, and she is pregnant with her deceased husband's baby. A group of humans have targeted her because of her talent. Dayan saves her and returns her to his homeland. There were some love scenes with Corrine, even when she was very pregnant. It doesn't matter, but it seemed a little unusual for a romance book to have a female lead who is very pregnant when she meets her new lover for the first time.

Felix Castor used to cast out demons for a living, and London was his stamping ground. But in a time when the supernatural realm is in upheaval and spilling over into the mundane world of the living, his skills are in renewed demand. With old debts to pay, Castor is leftwith no choice but to accept one final, well-paying assignment: a seemingly simple exorcism. Trouble is, the more he discovers about the ghost in the archive, the more things refuse to add up---and the more deeply he's dragged into a world he wants no part of. What should have been a perfectly straightforward job is rapidly turning into a "who can kill Castor first" competition, with demons, were-beings, and ghosts all keen to claim the big prize. But that's O.K. Castor knows how to deal with the dead. It's the living who piss him off.
