This third book in the Twilight series was wonderful. I enjoyed the way Meyer let you see how much love and jealousy is shared between many of the characters. I found myself actually smiling and laughing through many parts. I am also very happy to see the end of one particular Vampire! I am very excited to read the last installment!
Wasnt very good. There wasnt much substance. Not much of a beginning, middle, end. Pretty much flat throughout. But then again, I may have been expecting to much. But for a teenage book, I guess it was alright.
The conversations between Edward and Bella werent realistic enough.
this third book was much better then the second was, but I so wanted Jacob to get a life, but just not with Bella! get a clue she loves EDWARD..but they do find some common ground when it comes to protecting Bella..
Probably the best book in the series. Nothing in this book is really important. There are some funny parts. Bella however, was portrayed very selfishly.
For the sake of the series, this is a sort of a good continue but I felt Bella is so selfish and unfair to both Edward and Jacob. She loves Edward that is no question, but its obvious Jacob is just a friend and she keep saying how she doesn't want to hurt him.Yet by not letting him go, she hurts him more and keep leading his on. I don't like Bella here in this book. I pity Jacob and why cant Jacob smarten up and realized that Bella doesn't really love him. It gets to a point you find it annoying reading it.Abit boring actually but still very much entertaining.
Did not like this book that much. I liked for the series' sake, but some aspects that Meyer added to the series did not sit well with me. I am a firm Bella and Edward fan, and I absolutely hate what goes on between Bella and Jacob. Let me also say the whole Bella continuously thinking/saying "I don't want to hurt Jacob's feelings...Wah Wah Wah" gets really really annoying. So I say read it to stay with the series and for the lovely Bella/Edward parts because it is a good series.
My least favorite in the Twilight Series but still quite amazing!!
This book was unique because part of it is told from Jacob's perspective. However, the whole pregnancy thing was a little hard to swallow. I did like the progression of the book and found most new developement unsurprising, yet satisfactory. Bela finnaly gets Edward back, but not without hitches. The fact that Jacob is a major factor here should give you a hint that all is not calm. I do like that the tortured characters get their happy endings, though this book was not nearly as well though out as Twilight.
This is following New Moon as far as rating. Bella and Edward do not seem to be making any progress. Jake has come into his own. This book was a bit disappointing in it development of characters and plot.
I reviewed the ebook version of this teenage paranormal romance. Again I find myself in two minds about it. Bella continues to annoy me because she is very passive. Its almost as if she has no choice, that Jacob and especially Edward are making the decisions for her. I also can't quite believe that most of the town of Forks can love Bella. I do think that the pace of the book is better then the last two and I can certainly see why she is so popular. I also think that the book is becoming too adult for the teenage audience.
The third in the Twilight series. This has to be my favourite out of the 4! Its about Bella and the struggle to try and bring her Boyfriend Edward and her best friend Jacob to try and get along. But as you find out in the last two books both enemies have nothing in common but Bella. Both love her and try to fight for her. I love the way how Jacob really fights for Bella and how Edward responds to it! Its funny how both Edward and Jacob soon have to find common ground to save the girl they both love. BY FAR THE BEST IN THE SERIES! RECOMMEND!
Ah, no more heartache for Bella, good. I hated to see her separated from Edward in Book two, glad that nonsense is sorted out. Jacob annoyed me in this book, he really did. I feel bad for the guy, really, but jeez. I really enjoyed this book, though I would classify it as adult as well as YA paranormal. I look forward to the fourth in the series, Breaking Dawn.
I did enjoy this book in the "Twilight" series, but I must say that I feel none of the sequels has been as strong as the first book in the series. The "torn between two lovers" theme at times seemed almost overdone. However, Meyer's juxtaposition of the paranormal vampires and werewolves with the everyday life of Forks continues to be highly effective. The Romeo and Juliet-like factor of Edward and Bella also appeals to the reader.
This is book three in the Twilight series, and I’m torn about it.
I enjoyed this book, but it had its drawbacks. For one, Bella, for me, has continued to become more and more annoying as a character as the books continue. She lacks the depth of character traits that real people have, and just keeps being, quite honestly, stupid. I finished this book ranting a bit, as her actions are aggravating. Jacob and Edward are much more realistic as people throughout this book, although not necessarily in good ways – Edward’s behavior towards Bella and Jacob in the beginning is a little on the abusive relationship side, and it makes me feel like this is an unhealthy relationship several times in the book. In all honesty, I don’t understand why Edward and Bella love each other Bella and Jacob I can believe after what happened in New Moon, but there really isn’t any reason for Bella to love Edward, and absolutely no reason at all for Edward (or half of Forks) to love Bella, especially since he isn’t mentally 17.
Outside of that though, this book, like the others, draws you in and I found it hard to put it down for things like sleep. I recommend it.
