1. Ties That Bind (2015)
The story kicks off when Ariana Brenneman, raised in a strict Old Order Amish family, learns a life-altering secret: she was switched at birth with an Englisch girl named Skylar Nash. The discovery upends both of their lives, forcing Ariana to confront a completely different heritage just as she was planning to open an Amish cafe.
2. Fraying at the Edge (2016)
In the second book, the transition begins. Ariana ventures into the Englisch world to meet her biological parents, struggling to fit in with a secular lifestyle. At the same time, Skylar, fighting a prescription drug addiction, is given an ultimatum: rehab or spending time in the Amish community with her biological family. Both women have their values and beliefs pushed to the limit.
3. Gathering the Threads (2017)
The trilogy wraps up as Ariana returns to her Amish community in Summer Grove. However, her time away has changed her perspective, leading to friction with her traditional family. Skylar has found sobriety and stability with the Brennemans, but Ariana's return puts her newfound place in jeopardy. Both must decide where they truly belong.
