Where to Start with Cainsville
For the best experience, start with the first novel, Omens. While there are prequels and short stories that take place chronologically before the main story, the novels are designed to introduce you to the mystery of Olivia Taylor-Jones, Gabriel Walsh, and the strange rules of Cainsville from the ground up.
Publication Order of Cainsville Books
Following the publication order is the easiest way to experience the series. This includes the core novels, standalone novellas, and the short story collection:

- Visions (Novel, 2014)
- Gabriel's Gargoyle (Short Story, 2014) - Note: Available in the Portents collection.
- Deceptions (Novel, 2015)

- Omens (Book 1)
- Visions (Book 2)
- Deceptions (Book 3)

- Rituals (Book 5, the core series finale)
- Rough Justice (Novella taking place after Rituals)
