How to Read the Celtic Brooch Series
To get the most out of Katherine Lowry Logan’s time-travel romance saga, the best way to read the series is in publication order. While the time-traveling adventures transport characters to different historical eras, the overarching plot involving the MacKlenna clan, the magical brooches, and the modern-day framing story progresses chronologically from book to book.
Starting from the beginning allows you to see relationships grow, mysteries unfold, and new branches of the family tree develop naturally. If you read out of order, you will encounter major spoilers regarding who ends up together and how the secrets of the brooches are slowly uncovered.

Here is the complete publication order for the main series, leading up to the latest releases:

Chronological Order vs. Publication Order
Because the series involves time travel, the actual historical settings of the books are scattered across different centuries. However, reading the books chronologically by the historical era they visit is not recommended. The modern-day characters who discover and use the Celtic brooches have their own linear storyline in the present. Reading by historical chronology would completely scramble the character arcs, family dynamics, and modern-day mysteries that bind the series together.
Subseries, Spin-offs, and Tie-ins
There are no official spin-off series or co-authored books. However, the books alternate between purely historical time-travel adventures and modern-day romantic suspense/contemporary stories (such as The Last MacKlenna and The Broken Brooch) that are essential to the main plotline. Every book is a key piece of the MacKlenna family puzzle, so skipping the contemporary novels is not advised if you want the full picture.
