While each novel focuses on a standalone romance, the series features a complex, continuously evolving overarching plot. To fully appreciate the character development, shifting alliances, and world-building, it is highly recommended to read the series in publication order.

Because it acts as a chronological continuation of the universe, it is best read after finishing Death of Darkness (Book 9) of the main series:
