While The Protectors can easily be read as a self-contained trilogy, the series is actually a direct spin-off of Brenda Jackson's popular family saga, The Grangers. Some readers may notice that certain retail outlets and database indexes (including our own legacy records) list Seized by Seduction as the first book and Forged in Desire as the second. However, based on Harlequin's official catalog and publication dates, Forged in Desire was released first in January 2017, followed by Seized by Seduction in April.
