How to Read the SEALs of Coronado Series
If you love adrenaline-fueled military operations, high-stakes rescues, and sizzling-hot romances, Paige Tyler’s SEALs of Coronado series is a must-read. Set against the sun-drenched beaches and Navy base of Coronado, California, this series follows the brave, alpha members of SEAL Team 5 and the fierce, independent women who capture their hearts.
Because the books in the series are written as standalones—each focusing on a different couple and resolving its own main suspense plot—you can technically read them in any order. However, characters frequently reappear, and the team dynamics evolve across the books. To get the most out of the overarching camaraderie and world-building, we highly recommend reading them in publication order.
SEALs of Coronado Recommended Reading Order
When starting the series, readers generally choose between two paths: the Chronological Order (starting with the prequel novella) or the Publication Order. While the prequel was published later in the series timeline, it provides wonderful context for the characters.
Option 1: Publication Order (Recommended)
Reading in the order the books were released is the easiest way to experience the series. This list includes the publication years and follows the official series numbering, which treats the prequel novella SEAL of Her Dreams as a companion story (or Book 0.5) that fits between the earlier novels:
- SEAL for Her Protection (2016)
- Strong Silent SEAL (2016)
- Texas SEAL (2017)
- SEAL of Her Dreams (2018) (Prequel Novella / Book 0.5)
- Undercover SEAL (2018)
- SEAL with a Past (2018)
- SEAL to the Rescue (2018)
- SEAL on a Mission (2020)
- Bodyguard SEAL (2021)
- SEAL Next Door (2021)
- SEAL with a Secret (2022)
- SEAL in Deep Waters (2023)
- The SEAL Who Kissed Me (2023)
- Dangerous SEAL (2024)
- Falling for a SEAL (2026)
Option 2: Chronological Reading Order
If you prefer to read the events in strict timeline order, simply move the prequel novella to the very beginning of your reading list. The chronological path is as follows:
- SEAL of Her Dreams (Book 0.5)
- SEAL for Her Protection (Book 1)
- Strong Silent SEAL (Book 2)
- Texas SEAL (Book 3)
- Undercover SEAL (Book 4)
- SEAL with a Past (Book 5)
- SEAL to the Rescue (Book 6)
- SEAL on a Mission (Book 7)
- Bodyguard SEAL (Book 8)
- SEAL Next Door (Book 9)
- SEAL with a Secret (Book 10)
- SEAL in Deep Waters (Book 11)
- The SEAL Who Kissed Me (Book 12)
- Dangerous SEAL (Book 13)
