While promotional materials for the trilogy often highlight this accolade, the Christy Award was specifically awarded for his earlier novel, The Trial (which won the Contemporary category in 2001), and later for A Time to Stand (which won the General Fiction category in 2018), rather than the Tides of Truth trilogy itself.
