How to Read the Blue Moon Brides Series
To fully appreciate the world-building, werewolf mythology, and evolving pack dynamics of the Louisiana Bayou shifters, the best way to read the series is in publication order. While the first four novels function as standalone romance stories focusing on different couples, the final three books form a highly serialized trilogy that must be read in sequence.
Blue Moon Brides Recommended Reading Order

- Pleasured by the Pack (2013) – Features brothers Dre and Landry Breaux sharing their fated mate, Mary Jane Johnson.
- Claimed by the Pack (2013) – Features the wild, near-feral alpha Dag Breaux and mechanic Riley Jones.
- Taken by the Pack (2014) – Features Jackson and Eden navigating fated mating bonds.
- Captured by the Pack (2014) – Introduces the love triangle between Gianna, Luc Breaux, and rival alpha Cruz Jones. This is the start of the Luc/Cruz/Gianna trilogy.
- Wolf's Desire (2015) – Part two of the Luc, Cruz, and Gianna trilogy.
- Wolf's Redemption (2015) – The conclusion of the Luc, Cruz, and Gianna trilogy.
Subseries and Spin-Off Connections
As the series progressed, author Anne Marsh began grouping and rebranding some of the titles, which can make tracking them down a bit confusing for new readers:
- The Bayou Wolves Series: This is a closely overlapping branding that primarily groups the Luc, Cruz, and Gianna storyline. It officially starts with the prequel novella Recaptured by the Pack (designated as Book 0.5) before leading directly into Captured by the Pack, Wolf's Desire, and Wolf's Redemption.
- The Breed MC: A gritty spin-off series that merges the werewolf shifter lore with a motorcycle club setting. It kicks off with Wolf's Heart (2015), which centers on Jace Jones (Cruz Jones's brother/pack member) and Keelie Sue Berard, offering a perfect next step for readers wanting more bayou shifters.
