Where to Start Reading the Boudreaux Series
For the best experience, you should start the series with Easy Love. This first novel introduces the wealthy Boudreaux shipbuilding dynasty, their family firm Bayou Enterprises, and the vibrant setting of New Orleans. Reading the books in order allows you to watch the siblings' lives evolve and witness characters from previous books make frequent cameo appearances in later stories.
The Boudreaux Reading Order
The series consists of six main novels focusing on the six Boudreaux siblings, interspersed with three companion novellas. Here is the recommended reading path:
- Easy Love (2015) – Eli Boudreaux and Kate O'Shaughnessy. The series opener follows Eli, a CEO investigating embezzlement, and Kate, the private investigator hired to help.
- Easy With You (2015) – Asher Smith and Lila Bailey. This is book #1.5, a companion novella and crossover with Kristen Proby's With Me in Seattle series.
- Easy Charm (2015) – Gabrielle Boudreaux and Rhys O'Shaughnessy. Focuses on Gabrielle, a single mother running a historic inn, and injured baseball star Rhys.
- Easy Melody (2015) – Declan Boudreaux and Callie Mills. Follows Declan and Callie as they navigate a second-chance style connection in the local music scene.
- Easy For Keeps (2016) – Adam Spencer and Sarah Cox. Book #3.5, a novella focusing on the manager of a New Orleans bar and a dedicated single mother.

- Easy Nights (2017) – Savannah Boudreaux and Benjamin Whitman. The final novel, which follows Savannah's healing journey alongside her bodyguard, Ben.
How Boudreaux Connects to the "Probyverse"
While the Boudreaux series is fully standalone and can be enjoyed on its own, it shares a universe with several of Kristen Proby's other series. The most prominent connection is in the novella Easy With You, which serves as a direct bridge. Asher Smith is a close friend and former partner of Matt Montgomery from Proby's bestselling With Me in Seattle series, meaning Seattle fans get to see a beloved character find love in New Orleans.
