Where to Start Reading Debbie Viguié
With a career spanning over several decades and encompassing more than fifty books, New York Times bestselling author Debbie Viguié offers a remarkably diverse bibliography. Because her work spans multiple distinct genres, the best starting point depends entirely on what kind of story you enjoy. Readers looking for dark, atmospheric supernatural YA fantasy should start with the Wicked series, co-authored with Nancy Holder. The Wicked Series
Co-authored with Nancy Holder, the Wicked series is one of Viguié's most famous and beloved works. It follows Holly Cathers, who is pulled into a centuries-old feud between two covens of witches after a tragic accident. The series is highly serialized and must be read in publication order to follow the overarching narrative. Note that the first four books were published in quick succession, with the final conclusion, Resurrection, releasing several years later.

The Psalm 23 Mysteries
This faith-based mystery series is one of Viguié's longest-running and most popular works. The books follow Cindy Preston, a church secretary, and Rabbi Jeremiah Silverman as they team up to solve murder mysteries in their community. Each book title corresponds to a line or phrase from the twenty-third Psalm. The Sweet Seasons Series
The Sweet Seasons series is a lighthearted YA contemporary series centered around Candace Thompson and her seasonal jobs at a local Christian theme park called Holiday Hills. Unlike her supernatural thrillers, these are sweet, coming-of-age stories focusing on friendships, first jobs, and romance. The series concludes with a follow-up sequel published a decade later, which revisits the characters as adults.

The Crusade / Cursed Ones Series
Co-authored with Nancy Holder, the Crusade series (sometimes known as the Cursed Ones) is a dark YA vampire saga following a team of elite hunters combating an global vampire threat. There is a chronological difference in how you can read this series because of a prequel short story called Passing. Originally featured in the anthology The Eternal Kiss, Passing acts as an origin story for the conflict. You can read it first as a prequel, or skip to the first full-length novel and read it later as supplementary material.
