The Drixonian Universe: Recommended Reading Path

The vast majority of Ella Maven's sci-fi romance novels take place in a single, interconnected universe populated by blue-horned warriors, gladiator arenas, and dangerous alien worlds. To experience the overarching narrative arc, political developments, and recurring character cameos to their fullest, you should read these series in a specific order.

The recommended reading path through the Drixonian universe is: Drixonian Warriors, followed by Stolen Warriors, followed by Mates of the Kaluma, and concluding with Outcasts of Corin. While each romance focuses on a different couple and technically ends with a standalone happy-ever-after, reading them out of order will spoil major character survivals, tribal alliances, and the ongoing rescue efforts of abducted human women.

1. Drixonian Warriors (The Foundation)

This is where the entire universe begins. A group of human women are abducted from Earth and crash-land on a harsh planet, where they are found and protected by the fierce, hover-bike-riding Drixonian warriors. The Drixonians live by a matriarchal creed where their mates are highly revered. You can choose to start with the prequel novella, The Alien's Future, or dive straight into the first full-length novel, The Alien's Ransom.

This series moves away from the main Drixonian settlement to focus on the scarred gladiators who have been experimented on and forced to fight. Characters in this spin-off are introduced or referenced in the later books of the main Drixonian Warriors series, which is why it is best read second. The series is preceded by the prequel novella Trawn.

3. Mates of the Kaluma
