Starting with Richter's story in Chaos Seeds is the classic way to enter the Labyrinth Universe. If you prefer to follow the cosmic timeline of how Earth connects to the Labyrinth Universe, you can take a chronological approach. Chronologically, the arrival of Chaos on Earth happens in stages. Chaos Seeds starts the timeline, followed by the immediate aftermath shown in Alpha: Chaos Awakens, which leads directly into the starting setup of God's Eye: Awakening. Note that because these series are ongoing and follow completely different main characters, reading them chronologically is not strictly necessary for plot comprehension, but it does offer an interesting perspective on the universe's timeline.

Exploring the Series

Chaos Seeds (The Land)

This is Aleron Kong's flagship series. It follows Richter, an American gamer who is tricked by a mysterious entity and summoned into a fantasy world governed by strict game mechanics. Richter must learn to survive, form alliances, level up his skills, and build his home, the Mist Village. The series is celebrated for its deep world-building, base-building elements, and highly detailed stat tables. However, readers should be prepared for explicit violence and crude humor, which are staples of the series' tone.

Labyrinth World (God's Eye)

In 2020, Kong launched a new series starting with God's Eye: Awakening. Rather than focusing on a mortal leveling up in a fantasy world, this series follows Remington, who is reincarnated into the Labyrinth Universe as a newly born god. The narrative focuses heavily on divine politics, gathering worshippers, managing divine energy, and strategic survival on a cosmic scale. While it features different mechanics than Chaos Seeds, it is set in the same multiverse.

Alpha Books (Alpha)

Released in 2024, Alpha: Chaos Awakens introduces Fin, a protagonist on Earth during a devastating global conflict. When a beam of pure Chaos strikes the planet, Earth is forcibly integrated into the Labyrinth Universe. This book functions as a hybrid LitRPG and cultivation story, focusing on the immediate social and environmental collapse as monsters spawn and human survivors are forced to adapt to a new magical interface.

What to Know Before You Start

Before jumping into Aleron Kong's books, there are a few important things to keep in mind:

• No Co-Authored Projects: Despite occasionally being grouped with other authors in LitRPG bundles or online lists, Aleron Kong is the sole author of his major works. He has not published co-authored novels.
